Blessing of Service

Poem for the month:

      Hold aloft the light and stand firm to thy post,

      Till all wandering souls have reached their goal in safety.

      Service brings strength and renewed life,

      Love cures all weariness,

      And Faith, the shining jewel of life, performs all miracles.

From the Bhagavad Gita:

      The self-subjugated Truth-seers, whose impurities are washed off, whose doubts are destroyed and who are engaged in doing good to all beings, attain supreme liberation.
